Rolf Helbling (1970), Portfolio management

Rolf Helbling played a key role in the establishment of BZ Fund Management and was responsible for management and marketing of BZ Infra. Prior to that, he advised institutional investors for BZ Bank and was the analyst for the industrial and telecom sectors. Prior to joining BZ Bank, Rolf Helbling worked at Bank Vontobel as a portfolio manager for private equity investments and then as a partner at Broadband Capital Management. He started his career at Citibank, where he worked as a key account manager in Zurich and New York. Rolf Helbling graduated with a business management degree from the University of St. Gallen (lic.oec.HSG) and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Andres Gujan (1967), Portfolio management

Andres Gujan was an analyst at Valartis Bank for engineering, real estate and electric utility companies. He advised institutional clients and was responsible for issuing derivative investment products and was involved in managing the investment portfolio of the bank. Prior to that, he was senior financial analyst at Bank Vontobel and Kepler Equities. At Kepler Equities he was the responsible analyst on the first share placement of BKW FMB Energie. Andres Gujan started his career at UBS. He is a graduate of the University of St. Gallen (lic.rer.publ.HSG) and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).

Dr. Raoul Bachmann (1962), Marketing

Raoul Bachmann is an independent entrepreneur in the fund and real estate sector and has supported Carnot Capital on marketing and customer management issues since January 2011. Raoul Bachmann has been active in the funds business since 1993. He was responsible in 2006 for European and American funds sales at CS Asset Management as the managing director. During this period he also represented the CS Group on the board of the Swiss Funds Association (SFA). In 2001, Raoul Bachmann assumed management of the European funds business for the Aviva Group and served as a Board Member for Morley Fund Management in London. In 1997, he expanded the funds business for the Bank Pictet & Cie. from Geneva and was the first CEO of Pictet Funds. Raoul Bachmann studied law and earned his JD in Zurich as well as an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen.

 

Dr. Andreas Walther (1961), Operations

Andreas Walther is responsible for fund controlling at Carnot Capital as well as various operational duties. He is also managing the exchange listing for EEII Ltd, an investment company located in Zug. Prior to that, Andreas Walther worked from the Valartis Group from 1994; an investment bank listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and specialized in stocks and derivatives as well as asset management and asset management companies. As the long-time CFO and member of senior management, he was responsible for the financial management of the bank and group. He serves on a number of various boards in Switzerland. He started his career at Alusuisse-Lonza Holding Ltd, Zurich, in Corporate Controlling as the project manager responsible for the worldwide introduction of a consolidation application. Andreas Walther studied general economics at the University of St. Gallen and was awarded a PhD in economics.


 

Marius Federle (1984), Assistant

Marius Federle worked in "Treasury and Risk Management" at Bühler Ltd. He studied economics and banks&finances at the University of St. Gallen. His graduate thesis was on the topic of “Categorizing risk in portfolio management".
